.45 norinco Ammo.

Canam should throw on a special too, in solidarity!! ;0)
They would empty the warehouse in 3 days!

I Agree !!
ya. I tried to price match right away as well. Other sponsor was out of stock within an hour.
Too bad, I will jump on this asap next time. either with CanAm or with original sponsor.

The shipping is almost always cheaper than the PST... Though I have certainly purchased from the Ontario company when they include shipping too... It's all about $, though customer service plays a role too! Both companies have always provided only top-notch service to me in the past, but CanAm ALWAYS has free shipping...

Oh I'm a big CANAM customer, just order the socom 18+ammo deal came up over $950 with tax, I think CANAM gets almost $5-800 of my money every month almost

i thought dealers are supposed to charge tax on where you live?
what is this saving money on tax?

It can be a little confusing... Everyone pays 5% GST to the feds no matter where you are...

Most provinces (except Alberta) also have Provincial Tax. In BC it is 7%, in Nova Scotia it is TEN percent...

htt p://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sales_taxes_in_Canada

If you live in a Province that has signed on to Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) you pay YOUR provincial tax rate on any purchases, including those from other provinces that are part of HST. So before April 1 this year, I would have to pay 12% tax if I ordered in BC, Ontario, Quebec or the Maritimes. They would have to pay THEIR Provincial tax rate, regardless of where they bought it... So a guy from Saskatchewan and a guy from Nova Scotia order the same $1000 gun from a dealer in Ontario the guy from Saskatchewan pays $1100 and the guy from NS pays $1150. The guy from Alberta pays $1050!!!!!!

Conversely, if they all order from Alberta, Yukon or the NWT they all only pay $1050... So Alberta is the most-fair Province in Canada!

Ever wonder why we need so many politicians, accountants and lawyers?!?!

Just bought a case from Canam a couple days ago, but I'd buy more if they ran same price as competition.

The "competition" ran a special limited time offer. It lasted about three hours till they were out of stock. The deal is now over and I don't think we'll see those prices any time soon from any sponsors. CanAm $329 a case with free shipping is a deal by itself, we are still lucky to get these great prices from a reputable dealer.

Close but not quite out of province purchases have to pay
Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland are subject to the 13% HST,Nova Scotia is subject to a 15% HST,P.E.I. is subject to 14% HST and all other Provinces (Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, NWT, Quebec) are subject to GST only so 5%.

Wow. Good to know! Never knew

Since it was for a few hours only, I'm not sure if CanAm can or will match the advertise price on the orders filled while the sale was on.

Well I hope so. I called canam and was told to order it on line and mention the sale at tradex. As a result I ordered a case from them instead of ordering from tradex while the sale was still on. The order number 3965475 gave the full price so I called back and was told that it would be changed as the order is processed.

Bob

If the other guys can do it, Canam can, cannot beat their prices,,, that's why I have 20 rough use knives,( gifts) and 3 norc. .45 combo deals!

How about a volume type sale of 3 crates for $800.? That would keep you at the top of the heap as cheapest ammo supplier in Canada and you would sell in bulk!!! HEY WADAYTHINK!

Excellent, then while he is in China picking up a few million rounds of .45, we need to leave a message for him when he returns!!
3 CRATES for 8 would be GREAT!
How many gunners can we get to repeat to let him know what kinda response he will get!
