Curious if anyone had been playing with one here. There is enough info from Hornady to get going on it. Would be interested in cast bullet info from someone that has played with them though. The gun is the 1H, 24" barrel, put a Swarovski 1.25-6x42 on it with the Leupold rings. Have some Hornady DGX 400 loads coming, and some Jamison brass as well as some Woodleigh 400's.
Curious on opinions on Jamison brass also.
PS, Cabelas US has 450/400ne in the bargain ctr, won't ship it up here, and Wpg won't get it, so much for Cabelas opening stores up here and getting access to stuff like that. Won't happen most likely.
 
I've got one and have had a great time with it.

Started by working out a load with 400 gr. Woodleighs & IMR4831 for a bison draw that I got in N. BC. At the same time I worked out some loads using Trail Boss and Hornady 210 gr. pistol bullets. It was very handy as it was an inexpensive, fun to shoot load that shot to the same POI as the 400 gr. load making for some great practice sessions. Because of this, I have not tried any cast although that was my initial plan.

My gun is very accurate. I clover leaf 3 shot groups with both loads at 100.

I'm currently working on a load using 300gr. Hornady ( .411 Interlocks used for 405 Win.) to try on some deer this season.
