450 Bushmaster and 50 Beowulf

Is this so we can get more big bore 5-round mags? You know, like the .50beo without the trademarking/etc.
I am trying to decide if it is viable to have a rifle in one of these calibers but if there is no readily available mags or ammo it is a useless dream.
I am in BC on the wescoast and no gun stores have seen/are selling anything in 450 Bush and 50 Beo as of right meow.

450 bushmaster is a remington product so it will probably be the first commercially available ammo to us.........The mags are singe stack though, so useless to the 223 crowd buying up all the 50 Beo mags and putting toy bullets in them meaning I could see these having supply available.

Ok, I don't think I'm understanding you. The .50beo is also single stack, but it uses "standard" mags that just happen to be able to hold .223, now I don't KNOW if that's the same with these other big bore rounds designed for the AR-15 platform, so bear with me.
But for the OP: Why are you looking at doe of the calibers? Just for something different?
There are available mags in .50 cal, both storebought and aftermarket on the EE. Honestly even if it were on store shelves the ammo cost would be a great assistance into getting into reloading anyways, just the components alone are pricey when compared to more traditional calibers.

this is why I am leaning towards the 450 if bushmaster releases it in the ACR like people are saying Only guys shooting that caliber will buy the mags so there will not be. People trying to make money off selling them to 223 guys who have no self control. Ammo prices in the US are considerably cheaper than the 50 and it is supported by a large ammunition manufacturer.
Looks like it is a pipe dream for another couple years according to bushmaster, no plans for the 450 or 7.62x39 for at least a couple years as they have put those conversions on the back burner due to feeding problems. Elwood Epps has the 450 ammunition in stock though, both Hornady and remington

yes, however ACR barrel and AR barrel are dimensionally the same, adapting a Beowulf barrel to an ACR is a very easy task of modify the gas block, barrel retention system and bolt.
In current factory configuration, no it's not. You can rebarrel it and have it verified to become NR however.
