.450 Bushmaster complete upper for AR platforms ...questions.

Hello board members. I have a few questions that I cannot seem to find answers for and am hoping the collective mind here might be able to help out.

Firstly, is the .450 complete upper legal in Canada?

If so....

Does anyone know where I can shop for these items?

Why would it NOT be legal? It'll be restricted which limits its scope. Wouldn't be surprised to find that irunguns can get it for you.

Probably unlikely to find it on the shelf given its "hunting" rifle intentions.

Yeah cabelas as had one on for a decent price. I'm interested in moving onto some AR type fun and mixing it up a bit.
 
My only concern with running cartridges like the 450BM or 50 Beowulf in a range only toy is that it's a lot of money on ammo just to bang gongs and make big holes in paper. If you don't care about that then go for it and be sure to post pics when you get it.

Also consider that the RCMP has released a bulletin stating that any magazines that hold more than 5 rounds of 223 (other than LAR pistol magazines) are prohibited as dual use magazines which would limit your mags to two rounds of 450. This is only a bulletin so it's not law yet but you might end up in court fighting serious charges if you use Beowulf mags pinned to five rounds of .50.
