Right now true north arms are selling 5 round 450 bushmaster magazines. Are these prohibited for use in ARs in 223?

I know that the RCMP banned the Alexander arms 50 beowolf mags just wondering if it applies to the 450 bushmaster mags.

Thanks

if i recall correctly, it was the CBSA not the RCMP that banned the import of .50 beo mags?

regardless, if they are for sale, buy them. the RCMP does not have the power to ban them in the first place, and have come out on both this and the 10/22 issue that they will not pursue charges unless another law is being broken as well.

I don't think 223 will feed from 450 bushmaster mags. If that was where you're going with this.

.

The 450 Bushmaster magazines have a single feed follower, they will not hold .223 cateidges. The body is crimped for limiting capacity, so follower cannot be changed. These magazines are for 450 Bushmaster but will also work with 458 socom & 50 Beowulf.

The 50 Beowulf magazines are not banned, but now ‘dual use’ or some non sense the RCMP SFSS call them now. If they hold more than 5 rounds of .223 they are now prohibited.

This is the answer right here folks!

If you have a big bore AR15 then the 450 Bushmaster mags are what you want to get your 5 rounds.
