450 Bushmaster

This is a 250 grain round tooting along at 2200fps at the muzzle. It is made for the AR platform.

I was thinking of building up a Mini 14 in this caliber as we can't hunt with AR's. I'd like some feedback regarding interest and viability.

You couldn't use 450 Bushmaster magazines, as they are not brought into Canada for obvious reasons. And if those reasons have not become obvious, and they can be had, from where? PM me, I will buy like 30 of them.

I've been interested in that 450 Bushmaster since I first started reading about it a bit ago. Sounds to me like they'd be great for a little deer rifle. Hmmm.. How about a SwissArms in 450 bushmaster?

i might be wrong ...but i think the .450 bushmaster rnd is the same oal as .556...looking it up to doudle chek now

No need to double check, you are correct, and have thusly answered the reason why we may never see them here. Same mag body as a 5.56/223, except that it is 5 rounds for the bushmaster 450, but 20 rounds for the 5.56.
