450 Marlin Brass

I can't find a link to Hornady's current 450 Marlin ammunition product line, but if all they continue to manufacture is their 325 gr FTX ammo, then only 'short' brass will be available going forward. Not good...

Could the barrel be turned down and rechambered to 458x2". That way it's basically free brass. Any 2.5" belted mag case could be cut down

Beaks & Brass in North Lancaster ON just advised me that Bertram Bullet Co. in Australia will be doing a run of .450M brass in Q1 2024. https://beaksandbrass.ca/ / https://bertrambrass.com/

Beaks & Brass will bring some in if there's enough interest ETA Q2 2024.

I'm not there yet, but there are no problems, only solutions.

I don't think that's a solution for a short action browning BLR though.

There's someone selling a substantial ammount of boxes of FTX ammo on gunp0$t. Might be a decent short term solution to generate brass (albeit the shorter brass).
In 2020-21 new brass was 2$/ea. FTX bullets are over 1$ ea now.

Update: Bertram .450M brass currently in production if enough interest should be available here May 2024 no worries then to keep your .450M rifles fed if you belly up to the bar.
