450 Rigby

Anyone have a load for the 450 Rigby. Can't seem to find one anywhere

spooksar; Is that the 416 case necked out to .458? I thought I heard that once upon a time, if so you should be able to use 460 Wby starting loads as case capacity would be virtually identical. The big Wbys are just 416 Rigbys with a belt added and the radiused neck/shoulder.

Yes it is the 416 necked up. The weatherby runs at a higher pressure then the Rigby. I thought of this if all else fails I will use the Weatherby data as a point to start by reducing the loads and working up. I was hoping to not do this if I can find some loads to work with.

.450 Dakota is the same case too.
Try www.accuratereloading.com forums, a few guys there (in N America and Africa) use a .450 Rigby.
