Don't know if this has been asked before but is anyone running a 450 thumper in their AR .Looks like something i would like to hunt wild boar with as well as play with. Can the brass be made out of something else or fireformed or do you have to have factory brass

You guys realize that you can go to the U.S. to hunt too???.....AR not a problem.

.

Good point. Are there any problems with CBSA and the CFC with this? I'm curious because I have a lot of really great hunting just south of me. Washington, Idaho (no you da Ho).

Couldn't tell you, as I've never hunted in the U.S. Try posing the question in the hunting forum. Lots of guys there who hunt in the U.S., and can provide some clarification.

Thats the problem . Instead of answering the question everyone trys to be funny. I hunt in the US with my handguns to . i enjoy the freedom . Thanks i will try the hunting forum

Does it require a modified follower or feed lips? If so, I would suggest going with .458 SOCOM instead.

A custom Remington pump might be interesting with a .45 caliber barrel installed on it. One could start with the Patrol Rifle platform and upgrade from there. I would look scary enough for your black gun guys, and would still be legal to hunt with.

....All right, It's on............

ummm...I was going to put up a 'Hunter' joke. But all I could find were Redneck jokes...........;)

You're really not going to get any further by asking AR questions in the hunting forum. Perhaps an American Forum? Unless someone was going to the US, there'd be VERY little practicality for such an oddball caliber.

We make funny answers, because hunting with an AR, in Canada, is illegal, so only an ignorant newb, or an anti- troll, would be asking about it. If you want specifically ask about taking it to the US, please mention that, so we don't just figure you're one of those two aforementioned fellows. Good luck, I hope you find your answers :)
