452 adjustable sear, Cdn. source

I just got my own 452 American and I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

The trigger seems stiff with quite a bit of creep.

Do you happen to know how much you can lighten the trigger pull on the 452 before having to replace the springs and tweak the sear?

You have to pull back on the washer to turn the adjustment nut back that lets off the spring tension. If all the way isn't light enough, you can either remove the nut altogether, or grind off some spring, half a turn at a time. I'm very happy with the trigger weight on mine, which I lowered to an appropriate light pull by trimming the spring.
