It was nice day in Manitoba yesterday, thought I might go out and try some ammo. All groups are 5 shots from 50 yards.

I like your target! I use those 1" orange stickers too, but I like how you've arranged that with the ammo name.

I have a 452 I gopher shoot with (When I'm lucky enough to get out west) but it's the CZ I target shoot with sometimes as well. Overall, it far prefers standard velocity ammo and among it's favourites-CCI Standard Velocity and SK Standard. I did need an HV ammo for gophers though. I tried, what I though were...all of the "better" HV ammo types with little to show for it. In an act of desperation, I tried CCI Blazer and it shot consistently decent groups @ 50 yards. (3/4" or better) It's not consistent stuff so fliers are inevitable, but it sure is "gopher" accurate out to about 100 yards-more often than not.

The load that surprised me the most was the Remington yellow jackets at one inch even. My go to is the C.C.I. Mini mag hollow point for squirrels and gophers.
If ground hogs or anything bigger are on the menu I will use the velociter or the 25-06, seems to get the job done.
I have heard good things about the Blazers, I will pick some up next time I am in the city and give them a try.
