454 cassul for hunting

I got this rossi in a trade and at first I didn't like the buckhorn sights
I put it up on EE and I'm having second thoughts now
Does anyone have experience with this caliber when hunting deer bear moose ?
How is Meat damage ?

I don't believe meat damage would be an issue with the 454 casull out of a rifle... arnt they somewhat comparable to a 44 magnum round?

jus cos its got an unusual name , or different sequience of numbrs, doesn't neccisarily mean it will perform much different to what is out there today.

A Heavy, FN or RN projie at very moderate speeds from the get go.


would act very similar to another Heavy, moderately paced FN from a .44 mag? I believe

Hand gun that is in the U.S.
He loves it.

Very effective out to a hundred yards or so and no meat loss.
