I'm planning to reload some 454 Casull using Win231 with 230gr lead bullet. Do you think Win231 is a good choice? If it is, how much of it? I was guessing 10gr?

Here is a website that has all kinds of reloading data on various calibers.
The one here is for the 454 casull
http://www.reloadammo.com/454casull.htm

Win231 is on the list but I have no idea if it is a good powder for this caliber.
It is only on the 240 grain load .

So the answer to your question is " what kind of load are you looking for ? "
Plinking, hunting, target practice ???

If you don't have one, you really need a good reloading manual. Not only will it have the reloading data that you need but it will have all kinds of helpful information on reloading.
Reloading is one area where you do not want to guess.

Win 231 is a fast powder and suitable for light loads, say for 45 Colt loads that can also be used in a 454 Casull. If you want to get max velocities out of it then use a slower powder.

Note, several powders are not recommended for reduced loads such as W296, H110

your 45 colt factory load (winchester) is 7 grains of 231 under a 255 grain lead- what you're loading is a 230 , so you can expect it to shoot way low( i found this out the hard way) in the casull, and the 10 grains is a maximum load in a 45 colt, meant only for the rugers and t/cs , but in the casull, you'll see no problems- think of it kind of like a 45 colt magnum, and you're shooting specials
