I was digging thru old ammo I have and came across some 455 colt ammo.....anyone know much about this calibre?

And I have another one here that is a little shorter and says 455 II on it.

Yeah I could google it, but I prefer you guys' info over that:)

I have some that I bought to use in my Webley MkVI. Had to take a Garate Eibar revolver with them, estate sale, but found a decent home for that with a Gunnut, and then decided the ammo was too expensive to shoot, so I found sources for brass and bullets and made my own instead. Thought I might sell or trade the old Dominion stuff but some day but haven't gotten around to it, yet.

(It's not just the money. If someone wants this stuff for a collection, even though I don't really "get" collecting, I can see it'd be a shame if I just convert it to empty casings when I can make and use non-collectible ammo for shooting.)
