458 B&M or WSM

I would do the WSM... don't let the reamer hold you back from your project. PT&G has reamers for a reasonable price when you consider the cost of your entire project, sell it at 60% after if you want. I built a .375 WSM, Redding carries Sambar, .375 WSM, .416 WSM and .458 WSM dies in their Custom series.

I considered asking you to buy your 375 reamer but I think its not a big enough step up from my 338 and 35s. Tempted to go 416 but would like to plink with 45-70 bullets. Thanks for the info

I would loan you the reamer, no need to buy. However, I did also consider doing a .458 WSM, but already have a .458 WM Carbine, so there was not a strong pull in that direction.

I have a 2.10” .458 Manson reamer that I bought about 20yrs ago. I have the spec sheet at home but it will be awhile before I get to it. IMG_0912.jpeg
