458 Lott

Just wanted to see what some of you 458 Lott shooters are using for powder? My usual go to resource doesnt publish loads so ill have to dig around and read some forums. Any suggestions on starter 400 & 500gr loads would be great

Start with 458 Win loads and work up. Hornady should have data online, so should Hodgens.

 

[Dogleg]

I use 83 grains of 4320 and the 450 gr Swift A-frame, mostly because I have lots of it. 2400 and change for velocity.

The Woodleigh manual lists these for 400s:

500 grains
H4895-78-82. 2230
