You'll also need an upper receiver with a "big bore" ejection port. The 2nd-gen upper receiver that MRA is working on will have this feature. There are also other options like the Anderson big-bore upper.

Ah, thanks TNA. I guess my mindset is on my SLR, which MDI supposedly modified to be compatible with the big cartridges (.50 Beo, .458 SOCOM, etc).

Nice. I asked MRA about them, and all they had to say was that they were concentrating their efforts on moving shop (Which is understandable). Didn't reply when I asked for a ballpark ETA (All I was looking for was something like this year, early next year, spring 2020, etc).

yes it needs a slightly larger ejection port than what you'll find on a common upper receiver.

Oh ok, I see this is for a new barrel you don't have yet.
I was looking at your 450 Bushmaster barrel that it says is in stock, and I was puzzled by the lack of muzzle treatments for it.

Maple Ridge says they're in manufacturing and I expect we'll have them up for sale in about a month. 18.6", match series, nitride finish, retail price around $549. Matching .458 SOCOM muzzle devices will come possibly same time or shortly thereafter.

As of yesterday TNA has received a shipment of complete Bolt Carrier Groups with 458 SOCOM bolts from Toolcraft.
