I am loading up some 500gr DGX and dont have a new Horanady book for the bullets if anyone can help me out .Or will my 500gr Rn data be good to use for these bullets the only diffrence in the bullets is the seating depth witch the DGX will be a compacted load.Thanks Rob.

"...will my 500gr RN data be good..." Yep. You load for the bullet weight. Who made it doesn't matter. Same OAL too. DGX is just the name for the type of bullet construction. An almost SP vs an FMJ.
Don't worry about compressed loads either. That is about the powder used not the bullet.

I will use the RN data . The powder is compacted more than being compressed . The start load is 74.0 and max is 81.4 and im running 77.5 . The powder is WIN 748 . So my question is how safe is it to be so compacted in their ?

Construction matters, alot. A solid copper or guilding metal bullet will be longer than a standard lead core bullet, and will have more bearing surface on the bore. This will create more friction, and therefore higher pressures than a lead counterpart. The three bands on the Barnes TSX are for just that reason, to reduce bearing surface.

Start with the starting load, and work up carefully, and you should be fine.

Ah, just stuff the case full of fG or ffG black powder. When you fire, sit down, have a coffee, and you're good to go again when the smoke clears. You'll get almost the same ballistics as a 45-100.
