If one were to look more seriously into building one what would the best and easiest option be? Was looking at a browning 325wsm or a savage in the same.
Will i run into feeding issues with this case?
Plan is to use lighter weight bullets in the 300 to 350gr class
My other options are 458 socom and 458x2" just think the wsm case would be neat necked up and looking for any potential issues i may run into. Dies and reamers are listed in the states

Sounds like a rebarrel. The diameter difference between the two would be too much to drill rebore I would think.

Have a look online for dies, it probably exists but is called a Sambar or Alpine or something.

I thought a BAR in 375 WSM would be cool, not to far off the 375 H&H but in a semi auto, maybe 20" barrel. In thick bush and having to deal with wounded or territorial bears, wouldnt be much of a better pic than that. Not that I have that problem, but we do try and fix things that arent broken here.

I have a 458wm and a sxs 4570 already. The double is regulated for 405gr loads and my 458wm is sighted in for 400gr load at 2400fps.
Im looking for a smaller cased 458 to play around with in a lighter trimmer package that isnt handicapped by regulation like my double. Love my double but im wanting a bolt action to use lighter weight bullets

I want it for bear hunting mostly. Short barrel light gun. Nice handy package. My 458wm has a 26.5" barrel which proved to be to long when a bear climbed the tree i was in. Thats where i got the idea for a smaller cased 458 lol
Plan is to use 300 to 350gr bullets and load to mid 4570 levels. I never thought about loading subsonics though

This is why I use a 450 bushmaster Ruger Ranch, 500 S&W TC Encore 20" barrel and a 45-70 Marlin SBL. They are extremely handy in tree stands at close distance.

Saw this cartridge in an Ar 10 platform on the U tube.
Bet it would be quite in a subsonic format, real quite.
Would make a nice close range bush gun

Are you thinking of the SOCOM? More common in AR's, the WSM has like twice the capacity, wouldn't make much sense to load it down to subsonic when the SOCOM is basically made for that.

If I remember correctly someone in the US started building 458 WSM AR10's recently. A whole lot more capacity than the 308 w cartridge family

edit: I see vasilentarsenal . com is making dies and selling dies and brass for, and building AR's for it, which they do actually make a very very heavy subsonic load for...

Thats almost matching my 458wm loads. Mind you theyre pretty much starting loads i use as the first 3 shots went thru the same hole at 50 yards i never bothered to load anything different. Still use 72grs h4895 under a 400gr bullet.

I was looking for somethin not so hot but more thump than a standard 4570 and thought i could skip the belt going wsm over the 2"
