Does anybody use RL-15 and 500gr Hornady's? I found one suggested load but haven't seen any other mention for it. I ask because i have a bunch and if it works well i will try it.
 
I have used 76 gr of rl15 shot great out of my ruger #1 never got to try your gun but had no signs of pressure and was easy to shoot. used a wlr primer I found the federal primers to give a little more speed.
 
so far I have seen 71 to 79 grains with 79 being very hard to get in the case. I will try 75 and up to see what she will do.
 
Well I loaded 1 at 76gr. I havent loaded straight wall cartridges for a while. Had to do a 4 step load procedure as the dies would not let me seat and crimp in one stroke. I must say it looks hot when built though. I might do a few more and go shootin.
