I have one of these GP100s with the Cdn barrel and blued also. Taking it to the range again tomorrow. Love it!

The " Iowegan" at the Ruger forum has published a very good guide book (over 50 pages and plenty of photos )for this gun. For less than $20, he mailed one to my house.

I have a 6 1/2" BBL in a SS GP 100 and just had to have one of these as it is the closest I can get to a prohibited handgun. Picked it up three weeks ago. Pretty simple but nice. I have yet to fire it.

If you hold a 12(6), Armco has a used GP-100 in 4" (NOT the restricted 4.2") on his website. I'll bet there are not too many 4.2" versions remaining in dealer stock.
