Just recently picked up a Ruger SR1911 and reloading for it. Plan on using it in IDPA; anyone with experience with 230gn plated RN + CFE Pistol to make power factor? Hodgdon's site lists 6.0 to 6.8, but even the lower end of the scale there shows velocity well above what is required with a 230gn bullet to make PF. Any input appreciated! (P.S. using CFE Pistol as that's what I have a bunch of, originally purchased for 9mm reload duty).
