.45colt rifles on the market? Advice

I'm happy with my Rossi RH build in 45 Colt. It's a dream to work the woods with & packs enough punch with hardcast 250 gr pills for anything in my parts. I don't shoot food critters beyond 80 yds or so with 'er, but I can hit 6" diameter targets to 200+ with the bugger fair enough when plinkin'. I'll be getting an NEI 325 gr mold soon to up the thump a tad though along with a walnut fore stock from PGW to get the wee beasty matched up proper.;)

Ardent ... I'm getting old maybe it was 454 loads but I remember reading it in an article from Ross Seigfried or somewhere the comparison between a 30-30 and 45 Colt.

I found my first 150 yard 45 Colt 14" Contender carbine target ignore the high right 300RUM shot the lower left hole was the first shot upper hole was the second shot was figuring out my hold over.

I just traded a 45 colt rossi ranch hand for a revolver... and already miss it a little... likely going to buy another. I have a match for it in my Chiappa 1892 carbine (20" barrel)
Both were very good with +P+ loads. I have some 250 grain hollow points over 28 grains of Lil Gun made up and my shoulder sure doesn't appreciate them in that long 20" barrel. They were easier from the Ranch Hand because the 12" barrel has less recoil.

So, stick with another 1892, that's the action that you have now. I'm not so sure that a Henry can handle as much pressure as a 92 clone can.
