I hope to convert my .45LC Uberti 1973 to .45ACP because then I can share ammo with my other .45ACP Hg's And .45ACP is more plentiful. Does anyone have such a conversion cylinder or knows of a business who has them? I have been looking today and would appreciate the help.

Another option would be a cylinder in 38 or 357, and getting it rechambered. - dan

So ,a new cylinder and barrel??
They’re were a bunch of 38 complete revolvers on the site a a few days ago, from a site sponsor at $375 a piece.
I’d think that would be less costly than buying a barrel and a cylinder.

No, if you wish another 45 cylinder, you buy a 38 cylinder, and rebore the chambers. Presto, you now have another 45 cylinder. Colt, ACP, Schofield, your choice. - dan

Ahh, I didn’t realize.
What’s involved in doing that?

Timing the cylinder to the revolver, then reaming out each charge hole to the larger cartridge. The most accurate way, (Ive read, I havent tried it this way), is to line bore each cylinder straight with the barrel. Which makes sense, of course. Polish up the chambers when you're done, and you should be good to go. - dan
