Anyone know a good source of "reasonably" priced ammo in this caliber? I've checked the obvious online vendors and don't seem to be finding much. I'm in Surrey, so if any of the Vancouver gun shops stock it, that'd be helpful. Thanks in advance :)

460 is very hard to find right now, I only know of one shop that has it in stock and it's in Ontario so it doesn't really help you. It's always a good time to get into reloading though :)

International Shooting Supplies in Surrey has some in stock.

I don't know what's "reasonable" for 460... but compared to food for my 500 the 460 ammo there is very reasonable.

Define reasonably priced. Anything that is new, remotely unusual or not a target(shooting games included) cartridge will cost more and not be easy to find.
Anyway, .460 S&W is very likely to be a special order thing only due to the low demand, but your local gun shop can order anything you want. Be prepared to pay up front.

You can expect to pay $36-$40/box for Hornady, which is what most shops will have. I've seen Federal 460 S&W sell for as much as $68/box.

Wanstalls usually has Hornady in stock for about $39.00 for 20 rounds. They also have a some Winchester hollow point ammo. It's around double the price which may be "reasonable" for that ammo. Unless I required that stuff, I wouldn't buy it.

Here in Ontario at my local shop we have 460 S&W ammo from Hornady. $28.99 a box. Not that it helps, but I stocked up and now have brass to reload. Have to start somewhere.
