I picked up a Sidekick shoulder rig made by Uncle Mikes for my 500 S&W. Nothing special but it does the job. S&W have similar models available some for use with a scope and/or without plus a leather model that looks pretty good but is a little pricier.
the problems with the uncle mikes is that the hold down strap always gets in the way during a fast draw, hangs up on the hammer, does not hold itself out of the way etc.
a good leather holster, with a thumb break makes life easy. just an FYI forthose guys looking at mernickle holsters is that he will add a proper thumb break on request for little little extra money.... I swear mernickle is the best deal going at a holster for under $100.
