460xvr info?

so Ive fallen for a big girl lol in the tune of a Smith 460xvr with 8 3/8" barrel .

just wondering if anyone who owns one wants to spill the details on it.

-how much recoil? are the stock grips addequate for the recoil or are aftermarkets recomended??

-accuracy??, smith claims you can be accurate out to 250yrds with the thing lol. from smith website If You Zero its Sights at 200 Yards You Will Bag Your Buck with a Center Hold 0-250 Yards with No Hold Over! Just Center It and Fire. The 460XVR Will Do The Rest

- do you actually shoot full power 460's much or mostly the 45colts?

-if you have the 8 3/8" barreled version where did you get yours from? I can only seem to find the short barreled versions and nobody has given me a straight answer on whether they can get me the big one.

- i assume if your shooting 460 then your reloading, how much does it work out too roughly per round?

and most importantly LETS SEE SOME PICS lol (short, long it dont matter)

If you're going to use it for targets out that far you'll want a scope on it I'd imagine. A scope that'll withstand being beaten on with a hammer....

I've shot a few rounds of the .460 out of a 6'ish inch barrel set up with a compensator. There's a helluva push to the thing but it's not as bad as a .454 Casull's slap to the hand. Still, I wouldn't want to shoot more than a cylinder or two per session with it or your hand and wrist will feel like you've been judo chopping heavy planks all day.
