Doug used a 50-2.5(100-110) case. He cut it down a little bit and necked it down. It seems to be an awesome cartridge-especially for lever guns. I would like to, when funds allow, to build one on my Siamese Mauser. Should be interesting.
Issue 236 (March '08) of Rifle Mag. has a nice write up about it, and Doug's use of it in Africa. Good read.
