$499.99 Rossi LWC Single Shot Rifle 5.56 16.5" Barrel Black

it's really come to this. Literal single shot 5.56

Well, necessity is the mother of invention, I guess.
Single shots been a thing for ages. Picking up where H&R left off. TC Contenders and Encores are very popular. Some people just like simple basic rifles. I have a Rossi LWC and only gripe is, I wish the action release was slightly higher and not flush.

One nice thing about single shots. You dont have magazine feeding problems, and not gouging brass

It was cheaper to buy a LWC then a barrel for my TC contender, and what people wanted for 357 H&R handi rifles.

And too my surprise the Rossi is plenty accurate.

I'm well aware single shots have been a thing for ages.
I'm simply lamenting the rapidly declining amount of options for calibre 5.56mm.

How soon before someone makes a skeletonized stock with M-Lok slots then posts a YouTube video how tactical it is
Rossi has a few stock options, the "survival" model comes with a folder that looks to be a hair to short at around 22inches folded, maybe with a 3 inch linear comp it would qualify for minimum length?

A pistolgrip stock with an extension out the back that's the right length with a threaded end for a buffer tube wouldn't be hard to print these days.

Maybe ATI, or choate will make something.
Or the kid next door.... :)

It's never been easier to make custom parts for any project. A big issue with repairing many modern items has been lack of parts support, now people are scanning items into software with laser scanners and quickly producing custom parts at home while they sleep. Then many will upload the files for sharing by others who might want to print the same part.

The future arrived a couple years ago OK, "they" just never told us!

Question for Bullseye,

Is the folding stock available in Canada?

My understanding of our silly regulations is that muzzle devices don't count towards barrel length but they do count towards overall length.
A Survival model with a Canadian made linear muzzle break that brings the folded length to 26inches would be nice.

Not that we can find ...

10-4, I noticed it was sold out on Rossi USA but was curious if it was even in the drop down menu for ordering in Canada.
Thanks!

Are the 410/45Colts on the Canadian menu? I like the look of that stock and it wouldn't have the overall length issue of the folder.
The stocks they have would be a good import when they are available, it has a nice design with the extra bullet holders in the stock.
