4th GEN GLOCK 21

Anyone know if there coming out with a 4th gen glock 21 ...I have the money for a 21 but after buying a glock 17 3rd gen rtf only to have to sell it to buy the 4th gen 17 I dont want be left with a "out of date" glock 21?
 
It will be released the day after the fabled Glock carbine... Just kidding.

Look at one of the Glock specific boards for a better idea (Glock Talk, Glock Post). There are dudes on there that spend all their time researching that sort of thing.

BTW what is wrong with an 'outdated' G21? Mine is a Gen2 and it still works wonderfully for me. If you want an RFT just slap some skateboard grip tape on there.
 
Even you get a gen 4, still a very outdated design so as many other semi or revolvers, buy what you like and don't fall into brand name or updated design trap. 1911 been here over hundred years and still one of the best selling design.

i think glock is waiting for results from the sales of its glock 17/22/19/23 line which are its best sellers and all come are offered witing gen 4. if they sell well, they will probably offer the glock 21 line with that option. I believe that the glock 21 came with the rtf2 option very briefly, but it was discontinued when most folks deemed the rtf to be a too aggressive of a grip for your everyday shooter
 
I just want the reduced grip size, trigger, and mag release in a 21 that the new 17s have... if they were going to release one is there a certain time of year that glock puts out new products??
 
Yea thats what I said about my 17 but wait until they make a 4th gen with I hope a smaller grip and the new style trigger and mag release. That of course is yet to be seen.
