$5,000 Husqvarna?

No, but it does have a Douglas Air Gauge Barrel... so it must be worth it? Topped with a quality Leupold optic.
The real kicker... it does not have a red maxipad. If it did, the value would have to far exceed the $3750 US asking price?
There is no mention of a "pro" installed extraction system.

Of note, a Lenard Brownell Husqvarna could be had for $8975 US... but alas, no red pad either...

Reality:

I notice that the prices for Husqvarna rifles have remained remarkably low compared to almost any other quality brand. The cost of Husqvarna rifles in the mid 1980's was not that much less than they cost today. I can't think of any other brand for which this is true (certainly not Sako). It may have something to do with the low cost Scandinavian rifles (admittedly sometimes in somewhat rough condition) that have flooded into Canada over the last decade or so. Its a buyers market for HVA right now and that is nothing to complain about unless you heavily invested in Husqvarna back in the 1980's.

A few old fellas have told me on different occasions that they bought either .308 or .30-06 Husky rifles back in the 70s and 80s that were “the pride of their collect but because of those dang gun laws back in the 90s it turned a $2000 dollar rifle into a $200 rifle overnight.” One fella even went as far to say he will never sell it because of the depreciation of the thing. I’m not sure if they were a victim of a mail order custom rifle scam or what “those dang gun laws” had to do with anything but there seems to be a bit of a cult following.

I’m restocking a Husqvarna 30-06 for a good friend right now (I’m a rookie, but a meticulous rookie). If I were to charge him for it, from the hours Iv put into it, it would be a $5000 rifle lol.

In the early eight's everything was collectible almost no matter the condition ,we had such a boom through the 1970's to early 1980"s ,Husqvarna .anything commemorative,Pre 64 Winchester ,Hardy fishing gear ,it was crazy until the recession.
Most of that gear in today's dollars is a lot cheaper...unless it's something pretty rare.kelly
