This is my second holster and only my first into the kydex/polymer category. I didn't want a blade tech because having a release button right in line with the trigger made me nervous. Started poking around and found the 5.11 Tactical Thumb Drive holsters. I find their release system to be really intuitive, pushing down with the thumb while forcing you to drive your hand to a really positive combat grip before it releases the pistol. They've got a heck of a good promo video by Viking, testing it out in tactical situations. Everything in the video and reviews about how good the retention is are true. It looks awesome, has extremely solid build quality, and is extremely fast on the draw once you get the motion down. Bit more expensive than Fobus or standard Blade Techs, but it's coolness pays for itself. My only gripe with it is that if you have any clothing that could potentially get caught up in the thumb release (which is quite easy to do if you don't tuck your shirt in pretty well) then it doesn't like to cooperate.

Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a holster for their Glock.
