Looking for some 5/20 ar15/m16 magazines. I cant seem to find any except for 1 at collectors source. Please if anyone knows where I can go to find some of these reply or pm me.

I ordered 10 of them directly from CProducts not long ago. Worked out to under $15 each with shipping. Took around a month to get them.

When you order from CProducts do you have to fill out any fourms with border services since its a magainze? the 20 round magazine im looking for is blocked to 5.

AVOID C-PRODUCTS 5/20.

Nothing but trouble. Nothing.

bought three. All three have the second round nose dive after loading. FTF almost every time with them.

New C products mags have anti-tilt followers. If you decide to install them you will have to drill out the pop rivet and install it lower. Basically they have a 1.5" tongue on each end of the follower so there is no way it can tilt. The pop rivet has to be 1.5" lower.

Did you Magpul fans know about this mag mod?
5/20 rounders with out a rivet!

The PMAG 5 Round Limiter installs in standard PMAG 20 bodies, reducing the magazine capacity to 5 rounds. Designed for sporting and hunting applications, installation of the Limiter is simple, tool-less, and requires no permanent modification of the magazine body. NOTE: This product does not make PMAG 20 magazines legal in jurisdictions where magazines with a capacity of 20 rounds are prohibited. Consult all local, state, and federal regulations prior to usage.

HuH?
Who came up with that rule?
The Canadian government through Bill C-68 and accompanying "Former Cartridge Magazine Control Regulations" - "...if the modification to the magazine cannot be easily removed...."

If the rule of thumb is "needs tools to remove", which it seems to be in practice, then the baseplate has to be secured somehow. The old Colt 20/5 mags had a z-shaped internal plug, itself riveted to the baseplate. I've had a number of G-36 mags internally plugged, all baseplate-glued.

The MapPul limiter, as per the ad copy, is designed to comply with hunting regulations, not (our) criminal code.

If Tapco mags can be "un-limited" without tools, I think that's great because it eases maintenance, but am surprised CBSA let them in the country in that configuration.

Well, if the floorplates on the Tapco AR mags are anything like the ones on my Tapco Mini-14 mags, then the floorplate doesn't have a hole through the bottom to push the limiter in, unlike the Magpul ones pictured above.

Since the limiter sits in a detent in the top side of the floorplate, once the mag is assembled, it basically locks itself together.
