5.45x39

i think it would be a neat little cartridge. too bad we can't have any guns to shoot it. i think rechambering one of my sks's to it would be far too expensive too. oh well.
 
From what I was told, 5.45x39 goes for absurdly low prices in the US.

It wouldn't be the first niche market in the Canadian firearm community. Who knows? It could become popular?
 
no rifles = no need for ammo.

are there any of the SSG82's in the country? i remember seeing an article about them years back, seemed like a strange rifle.

Century Arms (when they were still in Kanada) had these rifles in their catalog, they also had RWS (?match?)ammo for sale, which was fairly expensive. I know because I thought seriously about getting a piece of Commie militaria when the Wall fell!
 
problem is unless norinco makes a sks or something like it in this caliber there is no need for it as we have no rifles to shoot it. our gun laws disgust me sometimes. nothing wrong with a semi-auto only ak. no different than many other guns
