5.56 / 223 bulk what can we expect for prices

There are two factors of the current high price of ammo: high demand and increased cost of raw materials over the last year. While the first factor is temporary, the latter one will remain. It's not the ammo which costs more, it's a $ which costs less by the day. In such economical climate - buy everything which does not depreciate. Ammo is like a gold. It will only go up.

No, it's better than gold. Gold fluctuates in price. Ammo only goes up.

"check us out, we have nothing to sell you"

Weird...
they have had smoking deals before with free shipping!!! If you were ever in on the combo deals or bulk surplus crates then you know.... people still talk about it. But yes if you want a coffee mug or bear spray canister holster they are the spot.

I have various 223 ammo I have bought over the years and recently started buying 556 ammo. Does anyone know whether one brand / type of 223/556 ammo has better longevity than another? I store in a dry and cool place in a cabinet - some people have told me ammo stored this way is good for 10-15 years. Some say 25-50 years. Is it brand and type dependent? Are shot shells similar? If I knew it had a very long shelf life, I would buy more of it with the perspective it is a long term investment.
