I don’t think we will see any cheap ammo anytime soon. I just opened my last crate of cheap 223 this past weekend, should have bought more back then.

I noticed the EE is full of folks off loading ammo with the exception of the stuff I am looking for (45-70, 444, 38-55). 9mm, 223, 308, 7.62x39 - lots of it on there.

Anyone remember the Canada Ammo black friday sale a few years back . Think it was 5 cases of 1600 for $2000. I got in on a group buy. Yellow Box I think . Was a good sale.

Price gouging at the distributor/retail level, factories have said they were still selling at the same.

Being that the exact same 50 round box of Winchester 124 grain 9mm NATO is $19.99 CDN @ my local big box store in Calgary, but is listed on Cheaper than dirt for $79.89 USD, it tells you all you need to know. The manufacturers are surely holding up to their end of contracts and equal distribution. The thought of undercutting CTD by $15USD/box and re-selling ammo for only $45 USD profit per box would be tempting, if only re-importing it there was lawful.

What happened to them ?

2010-2015 Can Am had good deals and tons of stuff to buy.

Now they don't sell anything... At least on the consumer level.

They have sure been advertising A LOT on Facebook lately. I've seen 2-3 ads a week for the last 3 weeks up on FB. Not advertising anything specific, just different versions of a "come check us out"
