5/75 SKS drum

FF responded to my email saying minor alterations my required with a Dremel tool to make it fit in my ATI stock. It looks like the front of the drum oopens up with a couple latches. No sign of a rivet anywhere so wondering if has a plug, like a shotgun ?

Dremel tools are your friend in this hobby.
 
Agreed, I've heard nothing but reliability issues as soon as anybody starts to mod anything on their SKS. The only thing I would consider replacing is the wood with a Tapco stock. That way I wouldn't have to worry too much about thrashing it around the bush or getting stuck in the rain with it. And I don't have any plans on using the Tapco mags either.
 
I just can't figure why you would waste money having a 75 round drum on a gun you can only legally put 5 rounds in. Seems silly. It may look cool, but everyone knows its fake. Me? I gotta keep it real, yo:)

Ya, but its what motivates his hobby. I think its great that he's excited about something that he wants. People say to me,"why do you spend your time shooting holes through paper?" To us we understand. Someone else can't get there. He wants it cause he likes it. For me, Golf is silly. Chasing around a ball and then beating the snot out of it with a club. Lol!

Hey I ain't hatin'. Its just not for me. For the record, I hate golf too. Unless it is the goofy variety.

Its no difference then putting those annoying mufflers on Honda's or a fat chick dressing in black. :HR:

Its the cool factor, $200 is a cheap "cool investment" to make my SKS look boss. Keep it real; it still only holds 5 rnds.

it is handy to have a buddy who's good at golf, I enjoy golf ball skeet shooting. hahaha perfume on a pig!

I might just build some sort of round body kit for my tapco 5/20 that fits right around the existing unaltered mag, just to get the drum look sans $$
