Generally I believe in practicing discretion with respect to details of my toy collection but these are simply too nice to keep to myself! :D

Would like to thank the boys at Questar for making the effort in bringing in these fine firearms into Canada. Those who know me personally know that I was more than ready to drop $7.5k+ on one a few months ago!

Here are some pictures of my 5.7x28 toys, including my Non-Restricted PS90!

[Disclaimer - I have absolutely no artistic talent in taking pictures..]

First, we have some family pictures..

Another family pic, apologize for the flash..

As you can see, I have a FiveseveN pistol, PS90, and an AR57 upper installed on a POF lower.

Here is a close-up of the PS-90 and the FiveseveN.

The PS-90 was re-barrelled with Shilen match grade blanks and machined by a talented gunsmith I have known for some time. The change in barrel length to 18.6" was sufficient to have the firearm re-classified as Non-Restricted. This makes one sweet varmint gun. The NR barrel is only slightly longer than the stock restricted barrel. The difference is less than 2" (less than the length of the flash hider).

Unfortunately I don't have much experience in taking pictures and these simply don't do it justice. The finish on the barrel shroud is even, uniform, and smooth as teflon. Did I forget to say that this PS-90 is Non-Restricted? :D

The work was completed in a timely and professional manner and I believe the results speak for themselves.

A final thanks to Ian at Herron Arms for the effort he put into this project. My collection is now complete (or so I thought before I saw that USC/UMP for sale... that E&E is going to ruin my marriage I say!)

Be prepared to see many more pictures of great PS-90 projects and hopefully the other owners will have more talent in taking pictures than me!

Cheers,
Chris

Silly question, but what's the mag in the magwell of the lower used for in AR if there is a five seven mag in the upper?

Or is it just a blank?

I like the Ar57, and I generally am not an AR fan. Too bad our mag capacity laws are as they are.

I hate you. Really I do. #### you. #######. Did I mention I hate you?

Naaaaaaahhhh.... I'm kidding. Green with envy, and willing to trade my wife for that PS90. Nice stuff.

Nr ps-90

The balance of the firearm is barely affected. The weight is mostly distributed to the rear of the carbine where the action is and the change in barrel length is actually negligible. Short answer, it balances very well.

The AR upper is from a close friend of mine out west. He seems to get real nice toys and when he gets bored of them I buy them! :D

The AR 57 upper uses the same mags as the PS90. The AR mag in the lower is just used to catch the brass that is ejected from the AR mag well.

Yes, Ian at Herron did the gunsmith work. Easy to recognize eh?

Cheers.
