$400.oo is a good fair price for that gun, better than the new ones.
Bu than I don't usally like new guns.

Hey guys, you al are very knowledgeable, and I'm lookin for some help here.

I picked up a 10/22 today from a gentleman in his 70's, he was the original owner and claimed to have had it for 40-50 years.

i enjoy my 10/22's and i have one from the 80's 90's 2000's and 2 of the current offerings.
i would have paid $400 for that gun to add it to my collection so i could have one from that time so i think that price was totally right on the ball.
