Well, we're leaving for the airport in a couple of hours and flying out of Calgary for Zimbabwe at 7:30PM. All the packing is finalized and we're right ready to head out.

Excitement level is pretty high around here. Can't wait to get the trip going.

All the best for a great trip. My Daughter & Son In Law were there for a month last year and had a great trip. What specific game do you have on the agenda? Dangerous and plains game. Again, best of luck and be safe out there.
 
This trip is for Dogleg's favorite...cape buffalo. Unfortunately I couldn't take any of my own guns with me so it's a rented Ruger 375 Gatehouse that I'll be using. Pics will abound as soon as I'm back and hopefully I'll have some recovered bullets to show off - if that's even possible with the awesomeness of the 375 Gatehouse! :D
 
Sorry to hear about the 375 gatehouse....Fortunately the game will have no idea the rifle sending the bullet has no class. :D
