5 round mag won't eject

I got a brand new 5 round mag. It won't eject from my Bushmaster. In fact I have to poke it out.

Is there a fix for this?

What kind of mag is it? Maybe a non-mil-spec mag?

If there's a rivet on the spine, it may be sticking in the spine groove of your lower receiver.

If you have to push it out, where's the resistance when you apply pressure to it?

mark the mag with somthing like that will come off easy insert and see whats rubbing

or trash it and get gi mags ive NEVER had a problem with GI in my eagle lower

Rodger...it's a POS. No use fighting with it.

I have a couple of the 5 rounders and they were sticking as well. They were too long from front to back so being the metalworker that I am I applied the required amount of hammer persuasion to the mag until it would install and fall freely. They both work fine now.

Hey it worked. Mine were sticking on the sides. I covered the sides of the mag with a block of wood and whacked it above and below the catch hole or whatever that's called on one side of the mag.
Falls out perfectly but I'll have to wait to see if it works.
