5 shot 100yrd Groups with an Anschutz 1717 HB.

I used the Hornady 17 Grain V-Max rounds.

Try the 20 grain ones. Those groups may shrink!

- Bushnell 3-9x32
- Winchester V-Max 17gr. 17HMR

Quick question: when you guys shoot those groups, are you sitting/prone with a bipod or some sort of rest?

When I shot my 597 with a 9x scope at 100 yards, sitting and off the elbows, the best I could get before I switched the hammer was an ~8 inch group.

For my groups I shoot off a bench using a Cadwell rest.

Soli, those groups are to test rifle accuracy, not the shooter. Use whatever you can - sandbags are probably the best. Support front and rear so your heartbeats aren't in play anymore.
