5 shot Garand clips

This ^ load an empty enbloc into the rifle and load 5 cartridges into the enbloc like you would a magazine. The enbloc lips will keep the cartridges in the mag well and to follower will
keep tension upwards on the cartridges. When finished 5 rds, let the bolt feed the round into the chamber......

There was a video out there about how GI's use to top up their enblocs with loose cartridges .

You can weld a small square nut to the inside of the clip to act as a spacer. JB Weld may hold too.

There was a gun mag article years ago about this; drilling a hole in the side of an 8 round enbloc and putting a screw with a square nut on the inside. You would have to dimple or countersink the enbloc and use a flat head screw, which sounds like a fun task. Welding would be easier, but I bet some of the newer adhesives would work fine.

If you do that, remember to degrease thoroughly and may do a couple of spares, so if the adhesive fails or lets go on one, you don't lose the hunt.

+100 for the Creedmore sports ones. Cheap and work awesome.

I've modified 8rnd enblocks to two and five rounds, but due to the hardened spring steel, they are a b!tch to make and they kinda look like sh!t. Not worth it imho.

The 8 rd enbloc clips are as hard as the hubs of hell!

Best to anneal the spots where you need to drill holes before cutting, shaping and bending.
