50 AE available?

Any chance you can import some 50 AE? I'm getting the feeling there's nothing available on this side of the border.

It's been like this for months and months for a few calibers including 500sw...none have received even the smallest shipment for like a year almost now..pretty crazy times

your best chance of snagging one is on the EE and doing the transfer through a dealer instead of private. Time is ticking, transfers average 6 weeks now.

In my mind it's the most understandable one. I never thought I'd have on, bought two now. But not in .50

I bought 2 but both in 50AE. I'm in the same boat, need ammo............

I'd have preferred to get one in 44, but couldn't find one at the time. I'm not about to complain about owing a 50. Just need to find ammo for it. Seems readily available south of the border, hence asking on an importers forum. Failing that I'll have to look into the US export process myself.

There is a guy on ####### who's selling some(Hornady 300 grain XTP .50AE) He's in Thunder Bay $200 per 20 round box

That being said, Id love some 50AE also. but not at that price.

There seems to be continuing shortages of ammo everywhere these days . I was in a Walmart in Maine a week ago , and their ammo shelves were practically bare , and they had a sign posted saying that they were restricting ammo purchases due to shortages . While I was there , a gentleman bought a box of 270 , and it was the last box in the store . Buy what you need when you see it , and stack it deep if you are a volume shooter .

yessir, i'm in the market as well. going to be reloaders only for these things i think. although even primers are rare with federal out of the game.

Irunguns hooked me up with a .44 mag conversion. It's sitting on my desk while the gun is still in transfer purgatory. I was planning on having to reload for my 300 win mag at some point, might as well get some 50AE components at the same time.

Western Metal has 50 AE ammo from time to time. I check weekly hoping for a surprise one day.
