Wondering if there is anyone out there that knows of a store that carries 350gr JSP, or 300gr JHP bullets for reloading .50ae? Also what would be the perfect primer for this application? For some reason most seem to be hush hush on the subject.

Higginson powders occasionally has the Hornady 300gr, and Epps often has either the Hornady or Speer offerings.

Berry's are definitely the cheapest route though, and they shoot very well.

Any large pistol magnum primer will work. I've used CCI and Federal to good success.

I purchased some from Budgetshootersupply. The Berry 50 cal (.500) AE 350gr RS w/ CANN bullet seems a tad longer than the one I have for sizing. I could press it in farther, but the grooved ring, isn't that where one is supposed to stop before crimping?

What do you mean it's a tad longer then the one you have for sizing? If your trying to compare it for OAL then don't, seat it to the cannalure(grooved ring), start low and work up.
