50 AK lever in canada

Wild West won't ship to Canada, I had mine shipped to a friend that is a FFL dealer with a export license and did my own import paper work. This route is a little more costly then going with Prophet River or IRunguns as you pay full price for the export permit, which now cost $450 US

Oy Chihuahua!

I'll bet if a smith in canada got set up to do 50 AK's and do em right he'd be burried alive with orders

The secret is to have more then 1 gun comming permit is good for a year, you can have as many guns as you want. Only can be shipped one time. Right now I have 5 guns sitting there, will do the paper work in January. Works out to $90/gun for the permit.

No, I'll just do what I normally do. If I set out to buy a 2500 dollar gun I'll start with trying to find someone here, then when that's exhausted I go to a capable country, then once I realize all my country does not have one capable person in that field + All they really can do is taxation me to death once I do find one, I'll pick up the whole tab but baby I'll set right to ordering the 8G version engraved and all. Once I get pizzed at the way things go in this ####-ry I go kinda burzurk

We have talked about this, all firearms must be in one persons name, 5 of us have costum Sakos been made and may end up doing this. Welcome to the US laws after 9/11, the Export permit used to be $250 but since Obama it's increased. For the average person bringing one gun in your better off using Prophit River or IRunguns and paying the $100 charge

Prophet River is a great company to deal with for imports. I've used Questar in the past ( also a board supporter ) but thought I'd give Prophet River a try as I've heard so many great things about them. They recieved my 1885 in Washington about 3 weeks ago. I got a call yesterday that it's already in Canada and is on it's way to me. For those of you who have not done this before, that is extremely fast. I've waited for 3-4 months in the past.

Chris.

There used to be a guy in BC who was a Wild West Guns dealer and trained to do their conversions.
I don't think he's around anymore though.....I'll go through my paperwork and try and find his info..

I'm sure their the best of the best. Problem is the taste in my mouth. Last time I was in Lloyd I left 2300 dollars there for nothing. I'll pay more before I leave another $ in Lovely Lloyd
