.50 Alaskan reload data?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there has reload data for the 50 alaskan?
I was planing on using IMR 4198 or H 4198. I have 360grn lead bullets for target shooting and 700grn Jacketed for hunting.
If anyone could help me out I'd surely appreciate it.

My copy of "Big Bore Rifles and Cartridges" doesn't list a cast bullet that light. 485 grain cast only.
The heaviest jacketed bullet listed is a 600 grain A-Square.
Data in the book was with IMR 4198 and Reloader 7

Would anybody recomend cutting a 50 cal surplus prjectile in half and loading it upside down (like the inventor did) Would anyne have data for this?

The book doesn't have any of the inventor's original loading data. It only says that the .50 BMG bullet was steel-cored, and cut so that the resulting projectile weighed 450 grains.
I would think that it could get expensive to buy the bullets and cut them down. Probably make more sense to buy the Barnes 450 grain bullets (if you can find any) and go with them.

Data for Barnes 450's was:

IMR 4198 - 51 to 55 grains
Reloader 7 - 50 to 59 grains

best groups were with the Reloader 7

Once again................................if you're going to try this, start low and work up carefully!
