.50 Beowolf pistol mags???

What about rivets ? Do they just fall out ?Could a rivet fire into space ?

dang it still only 15-17 rounds of .223 will fit /sarcasm

The latest concern re: .50 Beowulf and LAR 15 mags on the 'Alerts' page concerns the possibility that SOME .50 Beowulf mags were made first as .223 mags and modified to accept .50 Beowulf .... !!! Allegedly that makes them limited to 5 rds.

Gimme a break. This is getting beyond the ridiculous. Talk about picking fly sh!t out of pepper. So unless they expect shooters to submit their mags for examination and approval, units of "Magazine Police" are going to have to check every mag on every range in the country and every shooter in the bush with a Tavor.

Even someone with a .223 bolt action rifle with a 10 rd mag MIGHT have a Tavor or AR 15 at home waiting for an illegal mag to be inserted. Oh, the horror of it ....... !

I think this post needs more cow bell. Ha

Your 100% right IMO. I might order a .50 mag. Just because I can.

I just don't get how a Beowulf mag that can psychically only hold 14-15 rounds, or a LAR mag that can only physically hold 10 rounds is a problem, but they have no problem with selling rifles with a 30 round mag with a 10cent aluminum rivet in it, that I can drill out in 10 seconds and put 30 rounds in it easily. Never mind that you can buy a pinned 100rnd drum mag

Just makes no sense to me, being new to firearms when I saw for the first time that what they consider "pinned" is just an aluminium rivet I laughed out loud so hard....
