I'm genuinely concerned that exploiting these mags is going to result in a change to the "firearm it was built for" magazine law. Then no more LAR-15s.

There is zero chance of that happening under the CPC. Under the next communist lefty government that is a real possibility, though.

Realistically-speaking (due to the unobtanium nature at the moment) - I doubt that you'll see any on the EE for quite some time.

Could someone that currently has a 50 Beo polymer mag please measure the length from the bottom of the base plate to the centre of the rivet at 5.8 rounds? That information would be much appreciated.

I would prefer the metal but I believe I read that the poly was able to hold more rounds so I would prefer that. In time I would like to get 3 metal as well but I think there done with making the metal. I think I read that only the poly will be available. At this point I would take one made of petrified dinosaur crap with baby vomit finish and a rotting porkchop for a floor plate.
