50 BMG Primers

I'm interested in acquiring a 50BMG rifle. I have collected most of the reloading supplies that I would probably use. I was told today that Primers are very scarce and will no longer be available cause of US regulations. I'm not trying to get anyone scared, But any truth to this

Anything 50 BMG is a no go out of the US and has been for quite some time but AFAIK Higginsons has been able to keep a fairly steady supply thru other sources.

That is a good price in that EE ad above. I have seen people asking for way more than $45 per 100.

I have seen a few on the EE but I just want to make sure that when i get my new gun that components don't dry up. It is a big investment for one of these guns.

They will not be drying up. prices will go down if anything. There are many 50 bmg primer suppliers in the world.
